The rules for using puppy-s.com — and the limits of what our guides can do for you.

puppy-s.com does not give veterinary advice. Everything here is general information written to help you ask better questions. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment plan or a substitute for seeing a vet who has actually examined your puppy.
If your puppy is unwell, injured, or you are worried, contact a vet now. Do not wait for a web page.
Using this site
By using puppy-s.com you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. We may update them from time to time; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
Not veterinary advice
The guides on this site cover feeding, routines, training, socialisation, sleep and first-year health topics. They are written for a general audience and cannot account for your puppy’s breed, age, weight, medical history or circumstances.
Where a page describes itself as veterinarian-informed, that means a qualified professional has reviewed the general guidance — not that anyone has assessed your puppy. Only keep that badge on pages where it is literally true, and be ready to say who reviewed them and when
When to see a vet instead
Always consult a licensed veterinarian before changing your puppy’s diet, starting or stopping any medication or supplement, acting on a suspected health problem, or making decisions about vaccination, parasite treatment, or spaying and neutering.
Nothing on this site creates a veterinary-client-patient relationship, and we accept no responsibility for decisions taken on the basis of general guidance alone.
Not insurance or financial advice
Our insurance and cost pages compare publicly available information to help you understand the market. They are not a recommendation that a policy suits you, and puppy-s.com is not an insurance broker, agent or adviser. Cover, exclusions, waiting periods and prices vary by provider, country and animal — read the policy documents and check the provider is authorised where you live. Accuracy, and things going out of date
We research carefully and correct mistakes when we find them or when readers point them out. Even so, products get reformulated, recalled and discontinued; prices move; guidance changes. We make no warranty that everything on the site is accurate, complete or current at the moment you read it.
The site is provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Links to other sites
We link out to retailers, providers and reference sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their prices, their terms or how they handle your data. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer. Returns, warranties, delivery and disputes are matters for them, not for us.
Things you send us
If you send us a product suggestion, a correction, a review or a testimonial, you confirm it is yours to send and you give us permission to publish it on the site, in whole or in part, with light editing for length and clarity. Tell us if you would rather we did not use your name.
We are not obliged to publish or act on anything sent to us.

The text, layout, scoring system, graphics and logo on this site belong to legal entity name unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to quote a short extract with a link back. Republishing whole guides, or reproducing the comparison tables, needs our written permission first.
Product names, brand names and logos belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.
Acceptable use

- Attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it
- Use it in a way that breaks the law where you are

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case the narrowest permitted exclusion applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of country or state, and the courts of jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.

Corrections are genuinely welcome. If a guide says something inaccurate, out of date, or unsafe, tell us and we will fix it.
